Baker, Norman O., 82, of Lincoln, passed away peacefully into the hands of his loving creator Sunday (7-25-10) in the care of Homestead Rehabilitation after several years of declining health. He was born to Ralph & Emelia (Nelson) Baker on April 22, 1928 in Malcolm, Nebraska. Norman bravely served his country as a Sergeant in the US Army. He was wounded during the Korean War receiving many decorations. He married Rita A. Hofer of New London, Connecticut October 26, 1950. To this indelible union, seven devoted children were created. In 1970, a disabling accident in Connecticut ended his construction career. Norman loved country music, spending time with friends & family, singing, & cruising in his power chair.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30am on Saturday (7-31-10) at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S. 14th Street. Cremation. No viewing or visitation.
